Sunday....

After reading my last blog I realized that some of you are probably wondering...Isn't Karen a teacher? You know someone who teaches our children to read, write and use correct grammar and English skills??? So alas I do apologize for my lazy typing skills and therefore my lack of capitals. I do know how to use capitals. I love capitals!!!! I've used them in the past, even in the classroom at times. Every sentence begins with a capital letter and ends with a period, question mark or exclamation point, or so I tell my first graders. So as a teacher I feel as if it's my duty to use these skills from now on. I must warn you that I'm apt to slip from time to time and I hope you give me some time to rewire my typing habits.

Today is Sunday for only a few short hours more. I had my singing debut in church this morning which had me so nervous I woke up at 6:30am needing to use the restroom every ten minutes or so. Restroom use = "P"-ing not the other mind you :) When I get nervous I tend to get cold, which has the power to affect my bladder control. It went well though, singing that is...meaning no tripping, hiccupping, fainting, or crying. I AM so thankful that I am able to praise and glorify God with only three chords. As Joyce said this morning, "We're all cracked pots"...not to be confused with crack pots!!!! Thank goodness the Lord loves us anyway even though we leak each time he uses us :) I sang "The River of Jordan" which is an oldy but goody. Oh how I love those old bluegrass-ish songs. Speaking of...came across an Alison Krauss guitar website today which encompasses all of her songs including many christian tunes. Excited I am :)

Well tomorrow is Monday already! How it arrives so quickly I shall never know (yes I said "shall"...also a fan of "thus" and "shan't"). Tomorrow is my favorite day of the week, for I have my longer prep period which is always a welcome relief. I actually get time to breathe, sit, drink (H2O that is), and eat!! Let me write a short essay as to why I work: I like food. THE END :)

Prayer needed for our dynamite secretary Ann...She went into premature labor last night and is most likely going to give birth to a baby girl tomorrow morning. Her scheduled due date is mid December so many fears and emotional worries involving the health and development of their new bundle of joy. Please keep her in your prayers.
