CHERRY FESTIVAL...Awe what grand times were had this past week during our lovely annual Cherry Festival in good ole' Traverse City Michigan!! Saw some grand concerts at the Open Space looking over the beautiful bay including Grand Funk Railroad and "sorta" Santana, visited some amazing parades with tractors and wavers in tow, ate some delish Gibby fries with a sprinklage of vinegar, Oooh'd and Aweee'd over some slow moving fireworks, gazed upon an air show with Blue Angel air devils and daring stunt planes, danced and frolicked about at the Loading Dock to some fine tunes by Steppin' In It, played and coo'd over an adorable 6 month old baby who kept losing his shorts, devoured some fine cinnamon swirl french toast at the one and only breakfast nook Mabels, and saw friends and family dearly missed!!!

I was able to spend some time with two of my best friends from ELEMENTARY school which was a hoot in deed. I saw Liza Willsey at a little outside barbeque and baptism for my brother's church and then I was able to spend the evening with Rachel Hardley at the Steppin' In It show! Super-Super times. NOW I get to look forward to a little Florida getaway with my groovy folks starting this Wednesday. We're going to see ourselves a little Disney magic. How fun it will be frolicking about as wee kids enjoying the wonders of Epcot Center and the wild nature of the Animal Kingdom :) I'm ready for some Mickey sightings and pool side afternoons with margarita in one hand and raspberry-banana smoothie in the other :)
