After church yesterday some of the folks decided to go on a wee hike to some wee
Saipanese waterfalls...quality NOT quantity :) In days past people would swim in the fresh water pools by the waterfall but alas those days are over. Some locals have come up with the grand idea to dump bleach in the pools to kill the freshwater shrimp that have gathered to frolic to and fro. I guess they then gather up the murdered by bleaching shrimps and eat them!!! Yummy, nothing like some fine bleach enhanced shrimp on the barbE.

We even saw ourselves some wild bamboo.

Saw the Johnny Cash movie this past weekend, "Walk the Line". Very grand in deed. Oh how I love that Johnny Cash, even if he had a slight problem with drugs and other such things...that didn't make him a bad person. I have a problem with Frosted Mini Wheats but that doesn't make ME a bad person...does it?

Went back to school today after a lovely long weekend vacation with much pecan pie and green bean casserole. Other than feeling a little heavier around the waist it felt good to be back...even though I have already started the countdown to our next vacation :) Hopefully the next three weeks will fly by with much velocity. We shall be enjoying much holiday cheer in the first grade classroom the next few weeks. We're even having ourselves a little tree decorating party on Friday...now if that isn't the frosting on the cake !!

Tomorrow is Tuesday, which means "hump" day is just around the corner, then Subway Thursday and then HEY look at that Friday already!!!! Told you the weeks are going to fly by :)
