Sunday...


Went to Tinian this weekend with some fine ladies. We were able to enjoy a plethera of activities including renting some fine motorized vehicular modes of transportation. Now I know what you are thinking..."MOPEDS are for only the rich and fancy!!!!" But alas we were able to partake in this very prestigious activity. What a grand time cruising along barren Tinian roads with the wind in our lochs and 70 km per hour power between our thighs...take this moment to cleanse your thoughts. Looking dynamite in our helmet apparel we were able to visit some ancient taga stones. The photographs do their true massive size NO justice!!!!

We were also able to visit some beautiful beaches, gaze upon some bobbing sea turtles, eat some delectable authentic Tinian ice cream, meet a local boy who has enjoyed a plethera of authentic Tinian ice cream in the past named Jon Jon (aka: J squared), frolic and play in the hotel pool with speedo wearing onlookers nearby, enjoy the speed that only the Tinian pool-side water slide can offer, Monster Pizza with Stacy and friends, getting carded at the hotel casino (I believe one had to be 18 years of age to enter this particular classy addictive like establishment), while also having the opportunity to ride an hour long fairy boat back to Saipan with a boat load of sea sick Japanese toursits throwing up in wee zip lock bags. AWE we were all very pleased to breathe some fresh Saipan air when we arrived at the dock!

It really was nice being able to get away even if it was for just one night. Now tomorrow is back to school...short week with Friday being Veterans day!! Thank the Lord for three day weekends :)
